Brightside Global Trade cites Chocotal as Top in Flavor category for icecreams
Choctál ice cream is available in pints, 4 oz. cups and the new Chocolate and Vanilla Multi-Pack tours. Each multi-pack tour contains four, 4 oz. single-serve cups of Choctál’s chocolate or vanilla origins, packaged together by flavor. “The multi-packs are a great way to experience the Choctál tasting tour,” said Nancy Hytone Leb, Partner/Chief Strategy Officer. “Consumers love sampling all of the origins.”
Choctál produces rich, single-origin ice cream that sets a higher standard for gourmet ice cream. Each of Choctál’s eight origins encompasses a single variety of indigenous cacao and vanilla beans harvested and sourced from specific farms and regions of the world. Each region produces unique flavor profiles, creating ice cream with complex, nuanced flavors.
Varietals include:
Chocolates:
Ghana:
Full-bodied, with a long-lasting, rich, fudge-like essence.
Kalimantan:
Smooth and intense pure chocolate with a slight nuance of caramel.
Costa Rican:
Lively, well-balanced cacao flavors rounded by sweet notes of coffee and a hint of butterscotch.
Dominican:
Subtle, aromatic dark chocolate with hints of clove and nutmeg on its long finish.
Vanillas:
Indonesian:
A classic vanilla – smooth and creamy with a slight almond accent.
Papua New Guinea:
Fruity, with notes of cherry that linger on the palate during its long, lush finish.
Madagascar:
Pure Bourbon vanilla with flakes of vanilla beans creates a rich, deep, buttery flavor.
Mexican:
Complex, rich, sweet and spicy vanilla with a hint of cinnamon and a finishing note of coconut.
